Hafa Adai and Welcome to the home of Guam Fishing Expeditions. Our mission is to provide a safe fishing experience for all our guests.
We specialize in popping and jigging nearshore charters using artificial lures for those who are after big game trophies. If reef dwelling predators are your desire, we use spinning and light tackle gear to target everything from the explosive and fierce Giant Trevally (called Mamulan by the locals) to the deep and elusive Dogtooth Tuna.
For those who just want to cruise the pristine waters of Guam, we offer custom charters for diving, snorkeling and bottom fishing. Looking for world renowned SCUBA diving spots? We can take you to the famous “Blue Hole” or experience the vibrant corals of “Double Reef”. With knowledge of Guam’s reefs, our captain will bring you to the best spots for bottom fishing.

Meet The Captain!
Behind the helm of Mehna is Captain Ron Laguana II - born and raised on the ocean, son of generations of traditional fishermen. Captain Ron brings over 15 years of fishing experience. He started as a free diving spear fisherman and over the years earned numerous achievements as a competitive diver. Eventually, he became a United States Coast Guard (USCG) 100-ton licensed captain. He brings extensive local fishing knowledge and specializes in popping, jigging, and spearfishing. His passion is seen through the dedication and hard work he delivers to his clients. He will try every trick in the book to get his clients on the fish while ensuring safety.
THE VESSEL
Mehna
Mehna (pronounced Meh-nah), is a 2014, 22ft Imemsa Panga center console powered by a Yamaha 115Hp four-stroke engine. She is the ideal fishing platform with an ample deck space for casting, a shallow draft, and accommodations for up to three (3) anglers. She is equipped with all the reliable safety features required by the USCG to include life jackets, fire extinguisher, ICOM VHF radio, Furuno GPS and 1kw depth sounder.. Mehna is also equipped with an optional 8ft collapsible bimini top to keep you and your crew shaded. If the weather decides to take a turn, she has the ability to handle rough choppy conditions for a stable ride.

Kevin Rivera
Meet our newest member to the GFE team! Kevin brings his expertise in lure fishing specializing in the pursuit of GT's or Giant Trevally from shore using topwater lures or jigs. If the big game is not your target, he can offer a more novice technique we call "whipping" which is arguably the most productive fishing style to catch multiple species using lighter tackle. The land based guided tour will cater to off-island guests only. It's a great option in addition to our boat charter service!
